This rate applies to all consulting services: expert testimony, court monitoring, discovery support, AI consulting, and complex problem solving. There is no distinction between legal and non-legal work.

- Direct access to Tom DeGerlia — DEC's sole practitioner and senior expert
- All preparation, research, analysis, and deliverable production
- Written reports, data analysis, and expert opinions
- Court appearances and testimony (at the same daily rate)
- Travel time billed at half rate for out-of-area engagements
How Engagements Work
Every engagement begins with an introductory conversation — no charge, no obligation. We'll discuss your situation, determine fit, and outline a scope of work if there's a path forward.
Engagements are billed on a daily basis. A "day" is not strictly eight hours — it's the focused time required to move your matter forward. DEC currently has capacity for 1-2 concurrent projects.
